Chris Verheij, owner of Vloer Design, has been in the flooring business for a long time. What started in 1990 with laying floors has grown into a thriving family business that not only lays floors, but also has its own shop selling floors. Vloer Design currently has three permanent employees and works with freelancers when it is busy.

Vloer Design uses the smart Clover payment terminal, especially at the completion of a job or an in-store sale. ‘Most customers pay as soon as the floor is laid. Our upholsterers have the mobile Clover Flex in the car and can let customers pay immediately,’ Chris explains. This has greatly increased efficiency and ensures that payments are quick and smooth. Vloer Design currently has two Clover Flex payment terminals. This way, employees always have a fully charged payment terminal with them while on the road, and customers can also simply pay in the store.
Previously, customers sometimes had to come to the shop to pay, which could cause delays. ‘Now people can pay by debit or credit card directly at their home, and it's done right away,’ Chris said. This convenience has not only improved the payment process, but also helped speed up projects.
Chris praises the ease of use of the Clover payment terminal: ‘The device is easy to operate and it's nice that it has so many features, even if we don't use everything. Customers see that it has all kinds of apps on it and often ask about the features.’
